Paul Valery, an ex-boxer, is wounded by the police after a daring jewel robbery in Vienna. He is caught and sentenced to jail, while his two accomplices escape. Some years later, Paul’s prison breakout is arranged by Kruger (KLAUS KINSKI), the brains behind the theft. Paul, disguised by plastic surgery, then helps Kruger and his girl friend Gloria (LUCRETIA LOVE) to track down the remaining fugitives who still have possession of the stolen loot. Paul kills them both and returns the money, which Kruger deposits in a Marseilles bank. But the double-crossing Kruger has alerted the police, and is about to kill Paul when he himself is shot dead by Gloria. Paul tries to make his getaway with the stolen money, armed with Kruger’s gun, but finds the house surrounded by police…..
