Intimate moments in Sensuous surroundings...
Newly-weds Laura and Sandro return from honeymoon and go to live in a cottage in the grounds of his parents' villa. They are joined by Laura's sister, who is attracted to Sandro, and slowly succeeds in drawing him away from his wife who is so naive as not to realise what is going on around her. These devious circumstances push Laura into the arms of her father-in-law, a man completely neglected by his wife whose only concern is organising campaigns for charitable institutions. Father and daughter-in-law find themselves thrown together by the family situation as well as the disappointment Sandro causes them both with his increasing involvement in new love affairs and his determination to make a career in politics. United in love, both find an understanding previously unknown with their respective spouses.
