Sensationally beautiful and sensuous Tara is married to fabulously rich shipowner Harry, but gets no sexual satisfaction from their marriage. At their palatial Greek home she has a torrid affair with a handsome young portrait painter and Harry's attractive secretary Teresa also becomes involved in a dangerous three-way relationship. Harry hires a detective to spy on his wife - but, loaded with evidence, the detective extracts payment in kind by raping Tara. Teresa, becoming jealous of Tara's attachment to the painter, accidentally shoots Tara in a struggle, hides the evidence and tries to claim him for herself.
