When Mike Madigan - a wounded ex ganster [sic] deported back home from the United States - dies, the U.S. Treasury in Washington despatches Jason Fister to recover the million dollars he had stolen. In Italy, Fister tangles with the police, has run-ins with gansters [sic] and becomes the most-wanted man by the two contesting groups. He also forms a relationship with the beautiful Vicky Shaw, who turns out not to be Madigan's mistress - but his daughter! Fister has a sleuth's nose for discovering stolen money and sets himself up as a decoy between the police and the underworld, who are more than interested in recovering Madigan's loot. A gun battle ensues, but the cops arrive in time to see justice triumphs just as Fister runs out of ammunition....
