NOT SINCE "VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED" HAS DEATH BECOME SO SAVAGE OR SURVIVAL SO HOPELESS.
A school bus careers down a lonely mountain road on a cruel winter day and finally comes to rest at the bottom of a canyon. Slowly the survivors of the spectacular crash, five children, crawl out of the wreckage and head towards civilization. They soon happen across a beautiful winter home, miles from any town, occupied by three couples and a caretaker. The adults, doctors and their wives who are taking a working holiday, take in the children as they would their own. Soon after, however, strange occurrences begin. The telephone lines are down. The generator breaks down and the house is without heat or electricity. The car won't start. They are all STRANDED. And one by one each adult loses his life in the most horrible fashion. Death by hanging, death by fire, death by man-eating piranhas, death by knife! Slowly the surviving adults realize just who the murderers are.
