Inga at sixteen her coming of age
The poignant story of Inga, a young pretty girl who discovers that life is not a large home in the country with school every day, and an occasional movie with her boyfriend. Inga goes to Stockholm to spend a weekend with her older sister. She is shocked to discover that her sister Grete and her boyfriend, are living together! The very first night out in Stockholm, her date, takes full advantage of her naivete. Afraid and ashamed but eager to see him again, she arranges to meet him secretly in a club... but her date never arrives. Inga is picked up by a lesbian, and again is scarred by the brutality of the experience. She returns to her sisters [sic] apartment, physically and mentally exhausted. Her last day in Stockholm, she prepares to go home, her sisters [sic] boyfriend intrudes while she is bathing. After protests, she is seduced! Inga then returns to her parents, forever changed by the harshness of her exposure to life.
