Everything happens to GROUPIE GIRL when SEX goes POP
Sally is a groupie. From her provincial town the London pop scene beckons tantalisingly. One night, with her savings tucked in her underwear, she hides in a group's van. Casually accepted by them she passes the sexual initiation test and happily becomes maid-of-all-work at their London pad, making particular play for the group's leader, Bob. It is a foolish mistake, and she soon learns the hard, heartbreaking way that groupies are expendable when trying to protect his property from another souvenir hunting groupie. Resenting her possessiveness, and fancying the attractive newcomer, Bob throws her out. Humiliated, homeless, Sally soon manages to hitch onto another group a fast rising foursome known as the Orange Butterfly, and is able to erase Bob from her mind. But despite the broader experiences of her new scene, she does not seem to have learned the painfully obvious basic lesson: this time it is Steve, the leader and singer, who turns her on and whom she pulls her way.
