Another delectable 'Doctor' comedy based on the Richard Gordon novels and starring Dirk Bogarde as Simon Sparrow and James Robertson Justice as the indefatigable surgeon Sir Lancelot Spratt. Simon is deeply concerned by an abrupt change in Sir Lancelot's usually cantankerous character. All is soon revealed - Sir Lancelot is in love! And thereby hangs a whimsical tale that leads Simon himself into a romantic tangle and the jilted Sir Lancelot back to his customary caustic ways. Very light hearted viewing.
