One of the most famous comedy hits of the sixties, Stanley Baker stars as Murdoch Troon a cycle riding Civil Servant who sets out to woo car-mad Claire (Julie Christie), the daughter of belligerent tycoon Charles Chingford played by James Robertson Justice. The fun starts when smarmy car salesman Leslie Phillips persuades Troon to invest in a magnificent 1927 3½ litre "red label" Bentley to assist his courtship. And from then on this spectacular vintage car provides the perfect vehicle for a star-studded cast of comic talents.
