An exciting new version of the classic tale about Hawkeye the American scout and his friendship with the only surviving Mohican Sagamore Indians: Chingachgook and his son Ungas. The three find themselves escorting a colonel's two pretty daughters to their father's fort, which is under threat of attack by an allied force of French soldiers and Huron Indians. Having exposed the girls' official Indian guide, Magua, as a treacherous Huron and driven him off, Hawkeye and the Mohicans are soon defending the party against a series of attacks led by the vengeful Magua. The ensuing battles climax in a desperate showdown, a last-ditch stand against the Hurons by Hawkeye and his Indian comrades, one of whom is destined to die, the other to become the Last of the Mohicans.
