Synopsis

He loved three women... Or were they all one?
This is the story of one man, three wars and three women. It follows the career of Candy VC (Roger Livesley) from the Boer War to the Blitz. In each conflict he meets the same beautiful woman (Deborah Kerr) first as an anti-espionage colleague, then as a nurse, and finally as his ATS driver. And in each case he also encounters the same German officer (Anton Walbrook) who is his friend and rival by turns. A fascinating saga of a military man's life and loves, brought to the screen by one of British cinema's most revered and original partnerships Powell and Pressburger.
