Synopsis

A case of mistaken identity sends Derrick de Marney off on a chase through the Cornish countryside to find the murderer who stole the raincoat that incriminates him. Often described as one of Hitchcock's smoothest thrillers, Young and Innocent is renowned for the nail-biting suspense in the children's party scene, and the epic zoom shot that picks out the villain's eyes in a crowded ballroom. Basil Radford makes a brilliant cameo appearance as the flustered Uncle Basil.
