An entire planet becomes a battlefield in a struggle for power. The forces of good are led by John Blackstar with his "Starsword" - the forces of evil by the cruel Overlord with his "Powersword". Blackstar is helped by the Trobbits, a friendly dwarf people By [sic] Klone, a shape-changer and Mara the enchantress, who uses her white magic against the forces of evil.
Lavaloks - giant monsters that materialise out of solid rock - do the bidding of their master, the Overlord. Blackstar helps the beautiful Princess Talina. But can he trust her? In order to take control of the whole planet the Overlord enlists the help of a giant demon, Brilorand, a creature of enormous strength. But the demon goes berserk and destroys everything in its path. Only the combined strength of the "Powersword" and the "Starsword" can stop Brilorand but before that can happen, there must first be a truce between good and evil!
