Synopsis

And Then There Were None is a robust adaption of Agatha Christie's novel of a chilling and complex exercise in avengement - Ten Little Indians.
The plot centres around ten characters: a group as various and exotic as a chocolate assortment, who gather at a conspicuously vacant and isolated hotel in Persia at the summons of a mysterious Mr Owen. At the end of a welcoming meal, the alcoholic singer, aptly called Raven (Charles Aznavour), begins to serenade the other guests - only to be violently interrupted by a sinister pre-recorded message from their absent host (voiced by Orson Welles). With ominous relish, the voice on tape charges each of them in turn with an, as yet, unpunished murder.
So who or what is the sinister presence behind the ghastly voice, clamouring for retribution: and, indeed, to what extent are the individual members of this elegant party to blame?
A veritable showcase of international stars - including Oliver Reed, Richard Attenborough, Elke Sommer, Stephane Audran and Herbert Lom - play the trapped occupants of this inhospitable domain. One by one, like targets in a shooting gallery, they topple and disappear from view as the vile and perverted chain of events, foretold in Raven's ominous solo 'Ten Little Indians', runs the full gamut of horror, madness and deceit.
