A fairy story in the true half-comic, half-scary tradition Johnny and the Wicked Giant is the engaging story of little Johnny and his six friends who set out to conquer the wicked Giant. When they enter the Giant's magic castle the boys are subjected to a number of frightening experiences. Johnny's six friends are imprisoned by the Giant. Johnny, though managing to escape is reduced to the size of an insect! He is befriended by the bees and honoured by the Queen. Led by Johnny, the Queen's bee bombing squadrons invade the Giant's castle, defeat him and set the six little boys free.
