Somewhere in our galaxy, the spaceship "Cosmos" is under attack! The only creature to survive this encounter is RUBIN the ROBOT who floats through space and heads for the nearest planet... Earth. It's here that RUBIN meets TERRY, a boy with a passion for science-fiction and space travel, who has just finished building a rocketship to visit distant stars. With his extraordinary extraterrestial powers RUBIN helps TERRY, his girlfriend, FIRMA and his dog, ORBIT, to launch their spaceship. In exchange RUBIN asks them to help him find the "Cosmos" and their thrilling adventures begin . Adventures that take RUBIN and his astronaut friends to hostile planets where exciting intercosmic battles take place and unknown forces and aliens control their destiny.
