Synopsis

Spine chilling... blood curdling!
Returning from New Guinea with a human skeleton he believes to be the Missing link, Peter Cushing is horrified to learn that, in fact, he has in his possession the remains of Shish Kang - the legendary Evil One! Accidentally discovering the method of flesh re-composition, he unwittingly unleashes on the world the very essence of evil itself and unknowingly condemns his daughter to a horrifying death. With Christopher Lee on hand as the head of an insane asylum experimenting to discover the origin of madness, this is an atmospheric Gothique chiller in the best British tradition. Dave Pirie in his acclaimed book "The Heritage of Horror" praised Cushing's performance as his best of the '70's.
