Hussy is a dramatic and compelling love story centred on Beaty, a self-destructive woman whose experience of life has encompassed drugs, sexual encounters and a dangerous gangster lover. At the London nightclub where she works as a hostess, she meets and, almost against her will, falls in love with a mysterious young American Emory, who works the spotlights. Emory finds that he must accept both Beaty's decadent existence and her murderous ex-lover when he returns from prison. Yet even he has a secret past of his own and he too becomes involved in the dealing of the underworld... an involvement which leads to violence, drug smuggling and, ultimately, death...
