When the Chinese Government retreat to Chung King during the Sino Japanese war, Shanghai, which is on lease to a number of nations, becomes a centre for intelligence forces. Kang, a Kung Fu expert is sent by the Chinese military to help repatriate some of the treasury gold reserve from Nanking to Chungking. In Shanghai, Kang meets charming Grace and has a rendezvous with her, but discovers too late that she is the mistress of Suzuki, the Japanese chief of intelligence. Kang is caught and put in prison, where he finds Han, the treasury man in charge of repatriation, who is also caught. Both of them try to escape, but Han is shot dead while Kang barely makes it. Suzuki orders his lieutenant Moki, a karate champion, to pursue Kang, who is finding survival extremely hazardous. He has to sum up all his Kung Fu master taught to face his final kill-or-be-killed challenge.
