Synopsis

The story opens in ancient China, 200 B.C. A group of priests lower a coffin, sealed with a sacred amulet, into a deep cave. The chief priest ritualistically slays the other priests, then takes his own life. As the main title appears, we are in modern times alternating between the bright summer of New York city and eeriness of the New York subway tunnels. Luke Curtis, martial arts expert and head of his Harlem karate school. Chris Allen, a friendly but hardened New York cop. Rodan, a local gang leader. Luke and Rodan go to Hong Kong to study under the direction of a Grand Master. Rodan discovers the mysterious cave and secretly takes the amulet. The unleashed spirit breaks out of the coffin and pursues Rodan to New York. Unable to tolerate light, the spirit sees the darkness of New York's subway tunnels. From Hong Kong to New York this thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat. The demon spirit of limitless force, unless stopped, will wreck havoc on civilization. Who can stop it?
