Synopsis
On arrival in London, Maria, an attractive but scatty teenager, finds lodgings with two aspiring actresses. When accompanying her two friends to a film audition, it is Maria whose "talents" are spotted by the producer. After what appears to be a promising start, Maria finds that the road to stardom is not all glitter and greasepaint but is full of disillusionment and deceit.
