The journey from New York City to Los Angeles is a long one, especially for an eleven and a half pound dog named HAMBONE. Accidentally left behind in the confusion of New York's international airport, HAMBONE sets out on a three-thousand mile journey home. Along the way, HAMBONE is befriended and victimized by man, but never once gives up on his trek to return to HILLIE. It is a compelling adventure of a little dog's determination and dedication, against all odds, blending humour, drama, and heart-stopping excitement.
