THE GANG'S THE SAME - THE ADVENTURES ARE EVEB MORE OUTRAGEOUS. New York gambling hoodlum James Beekman is seeking a match for his deadly pugilist champion Jack Wilson. He hears about Philo Beddoe who has just defeated the local police champ and eventually persuades him to take $10,000 advance on the fight. Philo, his friend Orville and their orangutan companion Clyde visit a country and Western saloon and are surprised to discover one of the performers is Lynn Halsey-Taylor. Lynn is the girl who gave Philo the runaround in Every Which Way But Loose, but Clyde helps to bring about a reconciliation. Philo later meets up with Wilson and the two fighters take stock of each other. Philo's friends regard Wilson as much too dangerous and try to dissuade him from the match. While Philo, Lynn and Clyde are staying at a motel, Ma and Orville arrive to warn that Beekman's thugs are in pursuit, Pandemonium ensues, in which Lynn is kidnapped at the fight in Jackson, Wyoming. Unknown to Beekman, however Philo and Wilson have their own ideas on how the situation should develop.
