Synopsis
SHE TAUGHT HIM EVERYTHING SHE KNEW - ABOUT PASSION AND MURDER. Ned Racine is a Florida lawyer who embarks on a torrid affair with Matty, wife of shady businessman Edmund Walker. When Matty wants her husband to change his will, which divides money equally between Matty and his young niece Roz, Ned rules against it. Out of the intensity of their passion Ned and Matty plot and carry out Edmund's murder, burning the corpse aided by Ned's friend Teddy Lewis. At a meeting attended by a lawyer, Miles Hardin, Roz, and Peter Lowenstein, who is investigating Walker's death, Ned is surprised by Matty's submission of a new will which she claims he helped her draw up. This has been rejected by a judge and it is decided that Walker died intestate and that Matty will inherit the whole estate. Detective Oscar Grace and Peter Lowenstein question Ned and advise him to stay clear of Matty. Ned also learns that a witness to the new will, Mary Ann Simpson, a friend of Matty's has disappeared. Matty phones Ned, informing him that she has received the money and asking him to go to the Walker boathouse to retrieve important evidence. He arrives there, but notices a wire attached to the boathouse door...
