When a psychopathic murderer terrorises a city, a cynical newspaper tycoon pits his three news chiefs against each other in a bid to crack the case, the proferred [sic] reward being promotion to the position of chief executive. While the newspaper personnel implicate themselves more deeply into the murder situation, the murderer erupts into their own milieu to threaten their security.
