There's trouble brewing between the clean-living homesteaders and the free-and-easy cattlemen of Abilene Town. Scott gets on the wrong side of the cattleboss who vows vengeance after he's thrown out of Town. The homesteaders put up barbed wire fences round their land and across the cattle trail. The result? A massive stampede and a shoot-out between Marshall and the cattleman on the mainstreet of Abilene Town.
