"The Child", a thrilling chiller with a foreboding setting. The setting is an isolated old farmhouse in the middle of some dark woods, with a cemetery nearby. "The Child" Rosalie is played by Rosalie Cole, who is most capable of portraying with depth the stange [sic] little girl with uncanny mental abilities. She lives in the house with her eccentric father and her older brother. Frank Janson plays the old man Norden [sic], and Richard Hanner [sic] is brother Len, seemingly the only one who is not a little weird. Into this bizarre setting comes a lovely young girl who has been hired as housekeeper and governess for Rosalie. Laurel Barnett gives an impressive performance as Alicianne.
