Synopsis
LILIANA CAVANI, DIRECTOR OF "THE NIGHT PORTER" PRESENTS
An aging [sic] colonial diplomat restlessly drags out his days in a North African prison, its walls mute to generations of death and torture. A convicted murderer, he festers with sexual frustration and violent passion awaiting the conjugal visits of Nina whose haunting body and emotions are timeless. Mathew, an American oilman, tries to break their bond with disturbing results.
