Dear Body Building Friends,
When I first conceived the "Mr Olympia" contest in 1965 I never dreamed that a few years later so many great bodybuilders would be competing together for that title. I am delighted and thrilled that all these physiques will be on view on this London stage for what will undoubtedly be the greatest ever "Mr Olympia" contest. Any of these men will be a worthy successor to the five previous holders and we shall see a tremendous battle before we know who will be "Mr Olympia" 1982. Indeed it will be an honour just to get into the six man final.
