Synopsis

featuring Steve McQueen and the stars of Dirt Track Desert Racing MotoCross Trials Drag Racing Hillclimbing Road Racing Daytona Ice Racing…
in the original bikesport movie

The definitive bikesport movie which has entertained and enthralled audiences worldwide since it was made in the 1970's by award-winning Californian producer Bruce Brown.
On Any Sunday takes you on a fascinating and amusing tour of motorcycling throughout America and other countries on a fairly typical weekend.
There's the kings of American two-wheel sport like Dick Mann, Gene Romero and Dave Aldana throwing their 750 cc bikes sideways at over 100 mph on the spectacular mile dirt tracks, or slipstreaming each other at 170 around the Daytona banking - all trying to win the coveted 'No. 1' plate awarded to America's best rider.
Out in the desert we join the enduro riders like Malcolm Smith and Steve McQueen - yes the great Steve features many times as a committed bikesport fan and competitor - trying to stay ahead of 1,500 other competitors in the Elsinore desert race.
If it sounds hairy to you - you're right!
Or what about the 'hilarious' antics of the have-a-go bikers trying to be the first rider ever to get to the top of the 'Widowmaker' hillclimb?
Or ice racing from Canada, or the Bonneville World Speed Record attempts, or even the sidecar racing?
It's all here in a highly entertaining package for all the family. And if you enjoy motorcycling - this is it!
