Flamboyant horror thriller about a young man possessed of psycho-kinetic powers (the ability to inflict pain on others by thought) who is kidnapped by government agent John Cassevetes [sic] who determines to use the boy as an international weapon. The boy's father, Kirk Douglas, sets about trying to find his son by using a schoolgirl who possesses similar powers. The stage is then set for a horrific climax on the grand scale. A stunning Brian DePalma movie with some breathtaking special effects.
