Flamboyant horror thriller about a young man possessed of psycho-kinetic powers (the ability to inflict pain on others by thought) who is kidnapped by government agent John Cassavetes who determines to use the boy as an international weapon. The boy's father, Kirk Douglas, sets about trying to find his son by using a schoolgirl who possess similar powers. The stage is then set for a horrific climax on the grand scale. A stunning Brian DePalma movie with some breathtaking special effects.
